Clifford Winston

Clifford Winston is a senior fellow in the Economic Studies Program at the Brookings Institution, where he has worked since 1984. He specializes in analysis of industrial organization, regulation, and transportation. Mr. Winston is co-editor of the annual microeconomics edition of the Brookings Papers on Economic Activity. Before receiving his fellowship at Brookings, he was associate professor in the transportation systems division of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Department of Civil Engineering. He is the author of numerous books and articles that have appeared in such journals as the American Economic Review, Econometrica, the Review of Economics and Statistics, the Journal of Economic Literature, and the Journal of Economic Perspectives.
