There are few areas of law and public policy where economics plays as prominent a role as it does in competition policy.  In high-profile competition cases, courts and regulatory bodies in the U.S. and Europe have subjected economic evidence and economic reasoning to careful scrutiny.  The Joint Center has invited two of the world's leading government antitrust economists to discuss cutting-edge issues in antitrust policy in the European Union and the United States.
